Cairo
Cairo is an amazing mix of both of her parents! She has the fox red colouring of her father and the loving, self-confident personality of her mother. She also appears to have inherited her mother's speed as well as the "big tease" nature of her father! What a combo! Cairo makes me laugh more than any other dog at Skylit. She has a certain quirkiness that is incredibly endearing. She's definitely one of a kind.
She is a half sister to Scotch.
After several attempts to achieve a litter (and failing), in true fox red fashion, I had to let Cairo call the shots. I've never seen one of my labs "fall for" a mate but Cairo did and Magic Ralf was the lucky recipient of her affection! (I had actually selected Magic Ralf for Cairo but she was having none of this "vet intervention" approach to having a litter.)
Cairo and Magic Ralf had their first litter together in 2020… our stunning Tiger Time litter and I kept Rora from that litter. In 2021 she gave me the Zorro litter with Bear and I kept Saffy & Diego Beau from that litter.
Cairo retired in 2021 and joined her new forever family in Hamilton.
