We have a lot going on here at Must Love Dogs but it all has one thing in common… DOGS! Located just 8kms from Dannevirke in the Manawatu, a stone’s throw from SH2, is a dog-focused paradise waiting for you and your 4-legged friends.

• Our private “Play” fields— Opening 2025 — TWO fields where your dog can play UNLEASHED are in the works! These are securely-fenced land with various dog-friendly playground type equipment and picnic spots under large trees. Book either of these great spots all by yourself or coordinate with other dog friends. Play Field South is approximately 1 acre. Play Field North is approximately 2 acres. Both have securely fenced private parking as well so there is no risk of meeting up with other dogs.

• Our private “Splash” fields — Opening 2025 — We are planning TWO private splash fields. These are securely-fenced land with large trees, picnic spots, and a lovely fairy tale stream to explore. Book either of these spots just for your own dog or coordinate with other dog friends. Splash Field South is approximately 1 acre of open paddock including a stream secluded in a lovely wooded area. Splash Field North is approximately 2 acres of paddock that borders the stream that twists and curves around big trees with pools and baby waterfalls.

• Our Private “Adventure” field — Opening 2026 — over 20 acres of farm-fenced hills, an access-controlled dam and views of the Ruahines! You’ll be able to book to have the spot all by yourself or coordinate with other dog friends for an invigorating adventure.

• The Woolshed Stay (Dog-Friendly Airbnb) — Opening 2025 — a 2-bedroom converted woolshed with kitchenette, lounge, toilet, separate shower, large deck and safely-fenced dog yard. Includes off hours access of the private parks.

• The Villa Stay (Dog-Friendly Airbnb) — Opening 2026 — a 2-bedroom wing of the 1904 homestead with private kitchenette, lounge, toilet, veranda, and safely-fenced dog yard. Includes off hours access of the private parks.

• The Dog House Dog Stay (Boutique Boarding) — Opening 2027 — boutique boarding with comfy beds, raw-fed meals, and securely-fenced private yards for our dog guests
